Clunette Elevator Co. Inc. has been dedicated to fulfilling the needs of the agricultural community for almost 60 years. Founded by three brothers; Wallace Anglin, Dallas Anglin and John H. Anglin, Clunette has been a family owned and operated business since 1951. From its beginning as a small grain elevator, Clunette has since expanded into one of the largest agricultural retailers in Northern Indiana.

Clunette Elevator started as just a grain elevator, buying and storing grain, which was then contracted and hauled to Great Lakes Terminals which was close to 100 miles away. Soon, due to demand by local growers, Clunette expanded into a feed mill, providing custom grinding and feed mixing. In the early 1960's, to expand and diversify, the company added pullet growing, egg production and hog contracting. Later turkeys also became a part of the food production inventory. Feed, grain and food production was the largest volume of business at that time, but this would soon change.
In 1970 a liquid fertilizer blending plant was installed and updated liquid application equipment acquired so as to serve the farmers need in custom application of complete liquid fertilizer and herbicides. This change would shape the future of Clunette Elevator and be a huge part of our continued success!

From its humble beginnings Clunette Elevator has grown from being just a grain elevator and feed mill, to a Pioneer seed dealer, custom fertilizer and chemical applicator and retailer. Clunette also provides crop consulting and scouting to all local growers in our area. We are currently also dealers for AgLeader Technology products and Trimble GPS equipment. To this day Clunette Elevator is still a family owned and operated business, the current owners are Gabe Ayers and Tom Anglin. For over 62 years we continue to take an active roll in agriculture. Over the years many things have changed, our goal remains the same however,  to help our customers achieve their goals!
